WHATS COMING SOON:
The Cohen Mint has been developing processes to
make coins and bars out of several other platinum
group metals, and other very valuable metals such as
rhenium.

Always the pioneer manufacturing precious metal
options where none other exist, The Cohen Mint will
be introducing 1 Oz bars this year out of valuable
metals not available anywhere else.

Look at the picture to the right. Think you can you
guess which is which?
From left to right: test blanks made out of pure .999+ fine Ruthenium, Rhenium, Iridium, and
our already popular product, Rhodium.
The Iridium blank had edge problems,
further testing will need to be done to
resolve this issue. It otherwise struck
up bright and shiny.
The Rhenium test blank struck up just perfectly.
The Ruthenium blank struck up
well, but there were edge
problems, like with the Iridium.
Likewise, further testing will be
required.
The Rhodium we already have
perfected the manufacturing method.
They come out looking perfectly.
Slated for release throughout the year, The Cohen Mint will be
producing for sale 1 troy ounce bars of .999 fine:

Rhodium

Iridium

Ruthenium

Platinum

Palladium

Rhenium

Niobium

Tantalum

Nickel

Gold

We already produce a 1 oz bar in
silver and copper, which are
incredibly popular.

The 1 Oz Rhodium bars, which I know many of you have been
asking about, are going to be up for sale in about a month. Its been
a long wait, and we have been working very hard on perfecting the
manufacturing process. When its finally ready, I know you'll be very
pleased with both the look and the price.
Genuine .999 rhodium 1 ounce test strike.
The other thing we have been working very hard on is jewelry. The
reason there is no rhodium jewelry on the market is, much like with
coinage, not for a lack of demand, its because of the incredibly high
melting point of the metal and the difficulty in manufacturing with it.

No jeweler or jewelry manufacturing company we spoke to is able to cast
rings out of pure rhodium. Even though rhodium is a cousin of platinum
(both being platinum group metals) the melting point of rhodium is so
much higher than platinum that jewelers simply don't know how to cast
the ring. As soon as you go to pour the metal out of the crucible and into
the mold its already solidified. Add to that the brittleness and harness of
the metal and any work you try and do to it simply cracks and breaks
whatever you've managed to make.

Using the knowledge we've gained over the past 3 years experimenting
and manufacturing with rhodium, we have solved the technical issues
when it comes to making rings out of pure rhodium.

Expect to soon see diamond engagement rings, wedding bands, even
necklaces and earrings made out of gleaming, shining, unbelievable,
pure, solid rhodium.
